Magical Christmas

It's Christmas in July!  Well at Bugaboo Stamps it is anyway!  I decided to play along in their week of Christmas in July challenges!  Being someone who makes all of her own Christmas cards, this is right up my alley!  Here is the card I created!
This first challenge is Cards for Kids.  and since I'm on this Harry Potter kick I decided to make a Christmas card featuring Harry Potter!  The image is Make it Snappy - Magical Christmas.  I used Copics, Echo Park paper and some twine from Jillibean Soup.  The star is from my stash.  It was pretty simple and I think it'll make any little kid smile :)

I'm also entering this card into the Send a Smile 4 Kids Challenge which is also Christmas in July!

Harry Potter

My 9 year old leaves for camp in the morning for 5 days.  He chose the themed week of Harry Potter (he's obsessed with Harry Potter!).  From what I understand this camp goes ALL OUT.  They decorate the eating area like the Great Hall.  They have a sorting hat and the 4 houses.  He's been talking about this camp for months.  I quick made this card to hide in his bag so he could find it when he gets to camp!
I can't believe I was able to find a Harry Potter image!  It goes to show Bugaboo really does have EVERYTHING!

Supplies:
Bugaboo Stamps - Har Repotter the chosen one
Copic Markers
Jillibean Soup pattern paper & twine
OTC adhesive pearls

I'm linking this card in the Catch the Bug Anything Goes Challenge

Die Cuttin Divas Challenge #72

Welcome to our first Die Cuttin Divas Challenge for July!  Has this summer flown by for anyone else?!  I cannot believe it is already July!  With that, we would like to see your projects with red, white and blue!  As an added bonus feel free to use a Patriotic symbol!  Here is what I created :)
I took this opportunity to make yet another layout!  I'm getting there though, this is from 2008!  We had a huge block party that year and the kids had an absolute blast!  Every year we decorate our bikes for the parade and this particular year we rented a bounce house, pulled all of our grills into the road, had crafts set out at certain driveways and set up a couple of pools and a water slide!  I cannot express how much fun it was!  So I look forward to scrapping these types of layouts!  I hope you decide to play along this week in our challenge!  Be sure to use a die cut somewhere on your project and link it up HERE.

Supplies Used:
Jillibean Soup (paper)
George and Basic Shapes Cartridge
Blue stickles
ek success scallop diamond border punch
ek success photo corner punch
ek success blue ribbon
baker's twine
white gelly roll pen

Happy Father's Day!

I'm getting a jump start on my Father's Day cards!  I had an idea of how I wanted this card to turn out!  I created it for a few challenges.  First the Peachy Keen Challenge #20 Just Cards.  I also created it for the Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge Father's Day.  And here is what I came up with :)
I think it came out cute!  I'm not thrilled about the crease in the center of the tie but I'm still happy with it!  I constructed the shirt, pocket and tie myself.  I may try to use a tie cut next time.  I cut the glasses from Groovy Times and used the Cornies Assortment from Peachy Keen Stamps.  The brads on the collar are from OTC.
I cut the inside sentiment from Father's Day cartridge since I do not have any Father's Day stamps.  The polka dot paper is from Jillibean Soup!  Thanks for looking!

Thanks a Bunch

I'm still playing with some of my goodies I collected at the Great Lakes Mega Meet last weekend!  I just finished sorting through my craft room, moving things around, taking stuff out, putting stuff in, hanging storage on the walls, trying to fit more paper in my organizer.  So with that done I sat down for a little bit to do some coloring!  I think I doubled my Copic supply in just one day!  I took an image from The Alley Way Stamps, combined it with a sketch from Made Especially For You, used 'just elements' and came up with this card:

I think it turned out cute!  I'm not sure if a group of mushrooms is called a bunch but I can only assume the recipient won't know either!  I will reiterate how much I LOVE decorating the inside of my cards!  This will be a regular occurrence!

Supplies:
The Alley Way Stamps (TAWS) - Fun-gi digital stamp
Echo Park This & That paper stack - paper on front cover
Jillibean Soup - ribbon,  paper on inside of card
Studio G - ink for edges
Stamps by Judith - Sentiment, brown ink
Copic Markers
