Good morning! We have another challenge at Die Cuttin Divas this week! We want to see projects using your current or favorite school's colors! This was tough for me, one because our current school is an elementary school and I don't think they have 'colors' yet! and second because I never had a favorite school. I went to private engineering school, not a big university. SO I chose Michigan State since I have a friend who LOVES and went to state so I made her a birthday card!
I think she turned out so cute! I decided just to make her shirt green instead of putting a big white S on it! Don't over think this challenge too much! We just want you to play along! So link up HERE!
Supplies:
Accent Essentials cart
BBrat girl balloon sitter - Bugaboo Stamps
Copic Markers
Imaginisce - green flower
Accent Creative Designs - white flower
Recollections - brad
Rubber Stampede - black ink

This weekend we will be featuring projects all about Back To School. Can you believe school has started!?

I'm always thinking of little random acts of kindness for my kids teachers. I know they all enjoy non homemade gifts for end of year and Christmas but I do make little crafty things for just every day reasons!

Die Cuttin Divas Challenge
Welcome back to another Tuesday Die Cuttin Divas Challenge! This week is a COLOR theme! We want to see yellow, orange, grey and purple in your projects....and remember, you MUST use a die cut! Here is what I created!
I originally colored this flower at the Great Lakes Mega Meet back in May. I took a beginner Copic class and the instructor had these flowers stamped and cut out (so I'm not sure what brand it is) for us to practice on. I thought it went perfect with this weeks challenge! Be sure to link up your projects HERE!!
Supplies:
Wild Card cartridge
Copic Markers
Making Memories (brads)
Studio G (sentiment)
Rubber Stampede (ink)

Supplies:
K&Company paper stack
My Craft Spot - Inside and Out Set #2

Snow Fun
Yes yes I know it's July and practically 100 degrees outside but if you know me at all you know how behind I am on my scrapbook pages!! and since it's the 5th Tuesday in July, it means it's ANYTHING GOES over at Die Cuttin Divas. Ironically these are usually hard for me! I almost find it easier when someone tells me what to make! This is also my design team post for P.S. I Love You Scrapbooking. and I LOVE creating layouts whenever I get the chance!
Slowly chugging away at these pages!! I guess I thought making a winter page would cool the weather down a little! It's still pretty darn hot here in Michigan!
Supplies:
Snow Fun title - P.S. I Love You Scrapbooking
Cricut Cartridges - George and Basic Shapes, Just Because Cards, Paper Doll Dress Up
Stickles
Flower Brads - Making Memories
Snowflakes embossing folder
Echo Park paper
Ribbon and snowflake brads from my stash
I drew the face on the snowman myself :)
Our anything goes challenge doesn't get any easier! All you have to do is use a die cut! Submit anything, any theme, any project with a die cut HERE.

Die Cuttin Divas Challenge #75
Well this summer seems to be flying by for me! July is over half over! Even though my kids don't go back to school until after Labor Day (which is pretty late for most of us), I still feel like we don't have much summer left! This week at Die Cuttin Divas we want to see your BEACH projects! Sand, sun, ocean waves, crabs, sea gulls, buckets, shovels....anything you'd find on or at the beach, and remember you MUST use a die cut somewhere on your project :)
I just love using people on my cards! My 2 favorite cartridges are Everyday Paper Dolls and Paper Doll Dress Up. I LOVE the little people we can make! I cut this girl from Everyday Paper Dolls and the beach ball from H2O. I used PK-570 Basic Paper Doll Face Assortment (one of my new ones!!). The kite is from Create a Critter. I made my own background using the Peachy Keen PK-107 Cloudy Day stamp. I think I'm finally getting the hang of it! I used Memento ink. I've tried a TON of different inks and this one seems to work the best. I used D'Vine Swirl for the waves and Swiss Dots embossing folders for the sand.
Remember to link up your project HERE for a chance to win a Cricut Magazine!!

Catch the Bug - Wrap it up with a bow!
Today is the last day of the week long Christmas in July extravaganza at Catch the Bug Challenge blog! Today's challenge is to make a Christmas card and include a BOW on it! This was no problem for me as I usually include some sort of twine or ribbon on the majority of my cards/projects.
I used strips of paper from Echo Park for the background. I originally tried going more red/pink but wasn't happy with my paper selection. I just love this paper from Echo Park!
Supplies:
Knobby Knees Chrismtas - sack - Bugaboo Stamps
Copic Markers
Crystal Stickles
Echo Park paper
Fiskars Tis the Season - sentiment
Corner Rounder
Ribbon from stash

Catch the Bug Christmas in July THURSDAY
Here is my Thursday submission for Catch the Bug Challenge blog Christmas in July week long event! Today they want your Christmas card to sparkle and shine! I had fun with this one!
I used the Christmas-bells image from Bugaboo Stamps. Colored it with my Copics and used Glossy Accents to make the bells glossy! I added stickles to the berries on the bow and the bottom part of the bell. The JOY stickers are from my stash and I finished it with pearl adhesives from OTC. Pretty simple card!

Catch the bug Tuesday challenge
So I'm a day behind....but determined nonetheless to complete the week of Christmas in July projects for Catch the bug! For Tuesday they posted a freebie (Tropical Santa) and wanted a tropical theme or to use tropical colors using the image. This was a bit more tough than I anticipated! So I kept with traditional colors I guess and went with the tropical theme as best I could!
This image was extremely easy to work with! I thought he turned out pretty cute!
Supplies:
Tropical Santa - Bugaboo Stamps
Copic Markers
D'Vine Swirl embossing folder
Stampin Up flower punch
Technique Tuesday ink
Bakers Twine
Jenni Bowlin - sun stamp
Creative Memories Oval Cutting System
Stickles

Crafting with Kids - Summer foods challenge!
I'm so happy my Nathan got to participate in another crafting with kids challenge! He's preparing for a kids craft show coming up at our local library and has been making cards like crazy to sell there! This week it's about summer foods and luckily enough we snagged this week's freebie from Bugaboo stamps! He's been watching me 'color' and I've made quite a few cards for him using digital images and Copics. So needless to say he's been itching to jump in! (especially since I won't use my Cricut to cut anything for him (I think it's cheating!)
Supplies:
Lace Berry Digital Image - Bugaboo Stamps (freebie this week!)
Copic Markers
Stamps by Judith - sentiment
Rubber Stampede - ink
Echo Park paper
Corner Rounder

Christmas in July!
I will admit I think about Christmas all the time! Mainly because about 5 minutes after all of the presents are opened on Christmas day my 3 kids are already making their list for the next year....and they remind me of it at least twice a week! I pride myself on starting homemade presents early and having my shopping done with plenty of time to spare. My scrap booking pages however....those are lacking!
This week at Die Cuttin Divas's it's Christmas in July! Make any Christmas themed project, be sure to use a die cut and link it up HERE! Below is my scrapbook page!
I love how this turned out! The title is from PS I Love You Scrapbooking. Her die cuts are SO easy to work with! and she has one for literally every occasion! The stockings are from Gingerbread cartridge and the scallop background from Accent Essentials (my new favorite cart I think!). I added some buttons and bakers twine to finish it off! Really very simple! Hopefully you are in the Christmas spirit and link your project up HERE!!
I'm also entering my layout in the following challenges:

More Christmas!
I have another Christmas card today! This again goes along with Catch the Bug Challenge Christmas in July week long events! and the Send a Smile 4 Kids Christmas in July Challenge! Today I followed a sketch. I LOVE using sketches! and this one was a great one to work with!
and my creation:
I used the image Knobby Knees Christmas - sack and colored it with my Copics. The scallop background is from Accent Essentials and the sentiment from Fiskars Tis the Season stamp set. I cut the stars with my Creative Memories Star Punch. I polished it off by glossing up the collar and ball of the Santa hat with Glossy Accents and used some glitter on it! Again a nice and simple Christmas card...and for someone who sends out close to 75, these are the kind I like!!

It's Christmas in July! Well at Bugaboo Stamps it is anyway! I decided to play along in their week of Christmas in July challenges! Being someone who makes all of her own Christmas cards, this is right up my alley! Here is the card I created!

I'm also entering this card into the Send a Smile 4 Kids Challenge which is also Christmas in July!

Harry Potter
My 9 year old leaves for camp in the morning for 5 days. He chose the themed week of Harry Potter (he's obsessed with Harry Potter!). From what I understand this camp goes ALL OUT. They decorate the eating area like the Great Hall. They have a sorting hat and the 4 houses. He's been talking about this camp for months. I quick made this card to hide in his bag so he could find it when he gets to camp!
I can't believe I was able to find a Harry Potter image! It goes to show Bugaboo really does have EVERYTHING!
Supplies:
Bugaboo Stamps - Har Repotter the chosen one
Copic Markers
Jillibean Soup pattern paper & twine
OTC adhesive pearls

Die Cuttin Divas Challenge #72
Welcome to our first Die Cuttin Divas Challenge for July! Has this summer flown by for anyone else?! I cannot believe it is already July! With that, we would like to see your projects with red, white and blue! As an added bonus feel free to use a Patriotic symbol! Here is what I created :)
I took this opportunity to make yet another layout! I'm getting there though, this is from 2008! We had a huge block party that year and the kids had an absolute blast! Every year we decorate our bikes for the parade and this particular year we rented a bounce house, pulled all of our grills into the road, had crafts set out at certain driveways and set up a couple of pools and a water slide! I cannot express how much fun it was! So I look forward to scrapping these types of layouts! I hope you decide to play along this week in our challenge! Be sure to use a die cut somewhere on your project and link it up HERE.
Supplies Used:

George and Basic Shapes Cartridge

A Bugaboo Birthday
I have a fun birthday card to share today! Summertime in my family is jam packed with birthdays so I definitely want to work up my stash a bit! I made this card for Bugaboo Stamps Catch the Bug Recipe Challenge (buttons, twine and sentiment)
I had a lot of fun putting this card together. I just love this image - Theodore Birthday Sign. I colored it with Copics, added some bakers twine, z flower and a button. The red background paper is from DCWV the Celebration Stack. Everything else is from Recollections.

Die Cuttin Divas Challenge #71
Happy Tuesday! This week over at Die Cuttin Divas we want to see your projects with a summery fruit or vegetable! I don't know about you but with this HEAT in Michigan my garden has taken off! I mean it has literally doubled in size in just a few days! I'm READY for some fresh veggies! Here is my DT project!!
I went with a CAS card today. I'll be honest though....I chose the sentiment first and had to find a fruit or veg that was a 'bunch'! I just love this stamp! I used Preserves Cartridge for the grapes and D'vine Swirl embossing folder for the background of the card. I stamped the sentiment (Stamps by Judith) on vellum and heat embossed it. Added some bakers twine and Peachy Keen faces!
I hope you decide to play along this week at Die Cuttin Divas for a chance to win a great prize from our sponsor Ginger Snap Scraps!

Another Tuesday Challenge!
You can tell summer has been busy when my posts are down to once a week! Thankfully my kids like to craft with me so I can get a little time to make some projects! This week at Die Cuttin Divas we want to see a project with the colors red, orange and yellow....the colors of the sun! We have Bugaboo Stamps as our sponsor and they are offering 7 free digital images as the grand prize! I am absolutely addicted to Bugaboo stamps! They have new releases every Tuesday and a different free image every Friday! I couldn't wait to incorporate one into my project! Here's what I made :)
I think he turned out adorable! I chose the image summer duck - ball and colored him with my copics. I cut him out using a scallop frame from Accent Essentials. This was the first time I tried to cut an image out with my cricut instead of just making it a square. The paper is from DCWV The summer stack and the cardstock is Recollections. I added 3 buttons from OTC and tangerine twine from Ginger Snap Scraps.
I would also like to enter the Catch the Bug Challenge: Stella Says Sketch

Die Cuttin Divas Challenge
Happy Tuesday! Today is a new day and a new Die Cuttin Divas Challenge! With Father's Day upon us we are challenged with a 'man card'! I decided to go with a shape card for this challenge! I think it turned out great!
I cut the trophy from Sports Mania Cart and welded two shadow images together with my gypsy. The trophy embellishment and DAD letters are from Sandy Lion that you can get from Circle B Enterprises (our wonderful sponsor this week!!!). Don't forget to link up your project HERE for a chance to win a prize from Circle B!

Happy Father's Day!
I'm getting a jump start on my Father's Day cards! I had an idea of how I wanted this card to turn out! I created it for a few challenges. First the Peachy Keen Challenge #20 Just Cards. I also created it for the Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge Father's Day. And here is what I came up with :)
I think it came out cute! I'm not thrilled about the crease in the center of the tie but I'm still happy with it! I constructed the shirt, pocket and tie myself. I may try to use a tie cut next time. I cut the glasses from Groovy Times and used the Cornies Assortment from Peachy Keen Stamps. The brads on the collar are from OTC.

I cut the inside sentiment from Father's Day cartridge since I do not have any Father's Day stamps. The polka dot paper is from Jillibean Soup! Thanks for looking!

Die Cuttin Divas Challenge #68
Welcome back to another Die Cuttin Divas challenge! This week we have a sketch for you! You can flip it, rotate it, make a card, layout, interpret it how you want as long as you use a die cut somewhere on your project!
I think it turned out a little 'fall-ish' but totally how I wanted it to. I cut the sunflower from Stretch Your Imagination cartridge (one I barely use anymore) and the adhesive pearls are from OTC. The sentiment is from Studio G as well as the ink. Be sure to link your project HERE for a chance to win an amazing prize from this week's sponsor Whimsy Stamps!!

Die Cuttin Divas Challenge #67
Welcome to another Die Cuttin Divas Challenge! This week is ANYTHING GOES!!! How easy! Make any project you like making sure you use a die cut! I decided to make a set of coasters for my mom for Mother's Day. I found a few tutorials on the internet on how to make tile coasters and after a lot of patience I think they turned out cute!
I started with 4 smooth ivory tiles from Home Depot and printed out my pictures on tissue paper. I covered the tiles with a coat of Modge Podge. CAREFULLY laid the pictures on the tile and put another coat of Modge Podge. I think all in all I put 4 coats of MP on, letting the tiles thoroughly dry in between each coat. I cut out the words from Home Accents Cartridge on adhesive vinyl and Modge Podged them again! I topped the tiles with a couple coats of varnish and hot glued cork to the back. I love how they turned out! A new Christmas present idea!!

Die Cuttin Divas Challenge
We're back with another Die Cuttin Divas Challenge! This week we want to see banners, buttons and/or birthday projects! This week our sponsor is 3 Girl JAM. Be sure to link up your project by Monday May 28th for your chance to win an amazing prize!
For my project, I decided to make a layout using all 3 of the b's!
This was a pretty basic layout to put together. I LOVE using banners! I think they are adorable! I cut the pennants from Sports Mania, punched some small holes in them and weaved them with baker's twine. I grabbed a few buttons from OTC for the ends.
I cut the balloons from Create a Critter and the number 3 from Sweet Treats cart. I glossed up the balloons with Glossy Accents and added some Studio G sparkle glue to the number. Then I just added a bit more baker's twine. I used Cupcake Chain border punch from ek success for the cupcakes and topped them with adhesive pearls from OTC.
I actually made one of the picture mats a pocket to hold his birthday party invitations. I save everything..EVERYTHING! So I wanted them to be a part of his page! And I'm not sure if you can see it but in the bottom right corner I also write their well check stats. At 3 years he was 33 lbs and 39 1/4 inches!
We would love to see what you create that has buttons, banners and/or a birthday theme! Be sure to link up HERE for your chance to win a prize from our sponsor 3 Girl JAM!
