I decided to go with the bottom row - Ribbon, Bugaboo Image and Sentiment.
I'm still practicing with my Copics. I love coloring and trying new techniques. I'm really having a lot of fun with them! It's hard to see the sentiment but I used an old letter punch that I've had FOREVER to punch the letters and sparkled them up with some stickles. Really enjoying these Christmas cards!
I'm flabbergasted that I've had enough time in the past few days to do any crafting! I'm also beyond thrilled! It's my third day in the week long Christmas in July event over at Catch the Bug Challenge Blog. Today's theme are the colors chocolate, cream and raspberry.
Here is what I came up with. My raspberry is a little off but I made due with what I had! I think more Copics will be on my Christmas list :)
I'm on a roll! I think I like this card better than yesterdays. I love the almost vintage look it has. I'm participating in day 2 of the Catch the Bug Christmas in July week long event. Today I am following the sketch below.
and my card :)
I have not practiced heat embossing in a LONG time so it is apparent I have some work to do! But I am still happy with how it turned out! and I'm feeling very accomplished even having only completed 2 cards.....that's 2 cards in about 9 months so it is a good feeling! I'm back!
WOW has it been forever since I've done anything with my blog. I have decided to really make time for me and get some crafting done. I participated in the Catch the Bug Challenge Blog Christmas in July event last year and had so much fun so here I am again! It is a week long event and I decided to start off with a Santa card! I really think this is one of my favorite Bugaboo images! I just love this paper stack too. I love how colorful the card turned out! I decided to sparkle up the Santa hat with some stickles and make his beard glossy! I am also very happy to have started my Christmas cards!
Good morning! We have another challenge at Die Cuttin Divas this week! We want to see projects using your current or favorite school's colors! This was tough for me, one because our current school is an elementary school and I don't think they have 'colors' yet! and second because I never had a favorite school. I went to private engineering school, not a big university. SO I chose Michigan State since I have a friend who LOVES and went to state so I made her a birthday card!
I think she turned out so cute! I decided just to make her shirt green instead of putting a big white S on it! Don't over think this challenge too much! We just want you to play along! So link up HERE!
Not only is today Tuesday but it's our FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!!! All 3 kids in school full time! Hopefully I can get tons of crafting done now!!! Summers are so hard for me! So anyway, today marks another Die Cuttin Divas challenge. This week we have a sketch challenge with a twist! The twist is a back to school theme, and of course you MUST use a die cut somewhere on your project.
Here is the sketch:

This weekend we will be featuring projects all about Back To School. Can you believe school has started!?
We hope you enjoy all of the great work this Design Team has done and find some inspiration.
My inspiration came from all sorts of ideas on Pinterest. I have never made one of these neat little sticky note holders but OH MY they are so easy! and adorable! I'm always thinking of little random acts of kindness for my kids teachers. I know they all enjoy non homemade gifts for end of year and Christmas but I do make little crafty things for just every day reasons!

Welcome back to another Tuesday Die Cuttin Divas Challenge! This week is a COLOR theme! We want to see yellow, orange, grey and purple in your projects....and remember, you MUST use a die cut! Here is what I created!
I originally colored this flower at the Great Lakes Mega Meet back in May. I took a beginner Copic class and the instructor had these flowers stamped and cut out (so I'm not sure what brand it is) for us to practice on. I thought it went perfect with this weeks challenge! Be sure to link up your projects HERE!!
Wild Card cartridge
Making Memories (brads)
Studio G (sentiment)
Rubber Stampede (ink)
I'm back today with another fun card! Another Tuesday means another challenge over at Die Cuttin Divas! This week we want to see flight! An airplane, glider or helicopter on your projects! Just be sure to include a die cut and link up HERE! Here is what I came up with!
I just bought this paper pack this weekend from the craft store! I LOVE it! I'm really loving these little stacks instead of the big 12x12 stacks I've been buying. It's so much easier to coordinate papers and colors!
Today is group design team day at Ginger Snap Scraps. The theme is anything goes! I of course took this opportunity to create another layout! Here is my oldest (now 9, then 4) at his second swim class!
Jillibean Soup - paper, journal square
Sports Mania Cartridge - title
OTC - mini blue brads
1 3/4" circle punch
